San Francisco is a known for its vibrant neighborhoods and restaurants.  This week we found MQVibe by MapQuest.  This is essentially a rating app similar to Yelp.  What makes it stand out is that it gives ratings on entire neighborhoods as well as local shops and restaurants!

Our neighborhood, Potrero Flats, has a 9.5 vibe rating.  It’s highest ranking categories are Popularity, Going Out, and Walkability.  We like how there are multiple categories to rank different aspects of a neighborhood.  Another awesome feature is the Neighborhood Wall.  I’m sure the name speaks for itself.  We love the twist on ranking apps that MapQuest has created.

The Vibe score is a combination of user reviews and user data gathered from MapQuest directions inquires and searches.  The higher the Vibe score the more “Vibrant” a neighborhood is deemed.  Visit: MQVibe for more information!
