Last week, I wrote a quick re-cap of the Social Media Week panel event: The Future of Social TV. Since TV is more fun consumed with friends or family, the rise of Social TV only makes sense. The widespread use of smartphones, tablets and small laptops makes it easier than ever to socialize about Appointment TV events like award shows, season finales, and live sporting events.
There is a huge Social Appointment TV series of events fast approaching (tomorrow). Basketball fans are gearing up for March Madness and buzzing about the teams on social media sites.
